What kind of budget do you have and where are you from?

I bought my car on-line, sight unseen, from a guy in Cincinnati using autotrader.com (I think). I talked with the guy and reviewed pictures of the car, then took a leap of faith and bought it. The first time I saw it was when it rolled off the trailer at my house (FedEx has a GREAT affiliate company for this service, very pleased)

So you should ask yourself if you are willing to have a car shipped (up to $900?). If so, you can use on-line searches for listings, but be careful and thorough.

Also, what kind of project are you looking for? A basket case? In my case, I was looking for a car with the sheet metal work already done, because I can't do it myself. Your situation may be different.

Are you looking for a first or second gen Camaro?

Unfortunately, the only "cheap" hemi car (or any collectible MOPAR) you will find is in the toy aisle at Wal-Mart. While I do LOVE Mopar's, I wasn't going to drop $20K for a project car and then spend $2k for an ash tray (sarcasm) as part of the restoration.

Good luck!

John
