Moabdude, That CoolRide kit up front works really well, but on the first gen's you have to worry about losing turning radius with the relocated shocks. This is normally only a problem when using the large GM single piston caliper. I would consider the Shockwaves.

As far as horsepower goes we have several company and customer cars running in the 6-800 horsepower range.
