When I spent some time down in Australia, I noticed that there were a lot of hot rods and pro street cars that ran the "sausage fuel". Even daily drivers were converted since it was a lot cheaper than regular gasoline.

Here, I know it is popular with the 4x4 and rock crawler crowd since it eliminates the problem of carbs running at extreme angles and fuel starvation.

It definitely can be done, but do the pro's beat out the con's?


Upside is you can mount a BBQ on the bumper and you've already got the fuel source!
