if you're going to do an exhaust upgrade you might want to look into Spintech. (
http://www.spintechmufflers.com) They custom made me a set and sound great. I've attached a photo so you can get an idea of the ground clearance on my 2nd gen. The exhaust in the photo is 2 1/2". My rear is lowered approx. 3 1/2"
