yeah, good ol' Dr Wankel. I beleive there is 3 moving parts inside the motor.
I've found that for some reason, mazda leaves the oil passages on these motors WAY TOO small. It is so constricting, that is strains the motor once you start to mod them. There are a few right angle turns in the passages as well. I've had this motor's oil passages completely re-engineered. not only have they been widened, some have been blocked off, and re-routed to ensure more oil, and more free-flowing passages.

I beleive piston engines had a problem with oil passages at on point. To remedy the problem, they did something very similar to what we've done with my rotary.

I'll hook yall up with numbers as soon as I get em.
As far as wieght, I am expecting somewhere around 2300 lbs. I am not gonna keep the interior gutted, I am only switching to a nicer trim. I'll do what I can for weight reduction, but I can't sacrifice style.
Nice build. But the weight of the 2nd gen is about 2826 pounds. Even if you strip it you might be able to get it to 2500lbs, but you have to strip the heck out of it, and since you're not, it's not going to be that light, but they are still lighter then most cars. I used to race the first gen for years, great cars when set up properly. Good luck on the build.
