When the car was uncovered at SEMA there was lots of chatter about what they started with and the time frame to get it done. IF what was said was true the car was rough at best (the GM guys thought they were getting a 2+ or 1- car). The whole project had a 6 week time frame that most of was eaten up doing panel replacement and body work. With that being the case I thought the car looked good. It was not built to be a show car but rather a driver to show case the motor. The choise of wheels was to copy the theme of the 2008 Camaro. I thought the car came out pretty good and would be thrilled to have it. It's not indoor show car material but it was never intended to be. Yes the gaps are 3mm and the panel fit is at todays new car standards which are light years ahead of late 60s standards. All in all pretty nice car to have in your garage.
