Yep, everything has been thouroughly cleaned, inspected, cleaned and redone. The oil pump has been rebuilt, ported and double checked.

The oil pan has been tanked, scrubbed and checked over.

The factory oil pump seemed a little wacked. the valve was sticky. Hard to know for sure at this point. I will send the cam to COMP so they can check it out.

We may never know what happened but we are going on the principle of "replacing everything it could have been"

Hey, it's a learning experience and will make getting the car done that much sweeter. (I tell myself that as part of my therapy.. lol )
