Carbon ones are nice, but only if you can tie them into the car with some hints of carbon other places as well. You definetly need them to be a finish other than polish/chrome to help give your engine bay more offset (the black ones look good there now.
What about those other CHEVROLET ones? with the raised milled off letters like the ZZ572 covers? You could powder them any color you want. If you do that then powder paint the gloss black parts of the new blower (tubing parts) in a matching color. You need to keep a sense of continuity with the colors and textures.
You could also find a set of plain covers, poweder them then have them laser engraved or milled to say something specific to your enigne.
