I'm gonna mix and match some of your ideas.
It depends on which path you're trying to take. There's somewhat of a recipe for retro rods vs slick and modern rods.
For more of a Retro look:
-Keep the grill vertical (or just slightly forward due to rake)
-Painted wire wheels or painted steelies look good (add wide whites)
-Big/little tire combo (almost always looks best anyway)
-Move the front wheels out to exaggerate the retro look
-Hair pin susp
-Vent choices too similar...louvers maybe?
-Flames
-Roadster top
-Keep the back door lines relatively parallel to grill
-Rear wheel should almost always be concentric with trunk curve.
Modern rod:
-Lean grill back
-Big inch 5 spokes
-Big/little tires
-Don't spread the fronts too far out in front of the grill
-4 Link
-vent from #2 (relate it to the nose shape)
-no flames
-Roadster (the hardtop you've got in there looks to egghead shaped, flatten it out a little and it may be better)
-Lean back the rear door edge
-Keep rear wheel concentric with trunk lines
