Default Shrifter Q's

This a copy of an email sent to Steve at Twist Machine. Thought I might post it here as well.

Steve,

Put a few more evalution miles into the Syclone before I start messing
around with changing things. Couple of Q's.

1)The T-Com software shows a gear indicator. Any way of integrating this
feature into small display box that would house both the hardware and the
software to display the selected gear. Scanmaster made a small box for the
Buick GN guys to display a few select important engine parameters from the
ECM this way.

2)Am I supposed to be in 4 gear or 3rd gear when using the shrifter? If I
have shrifter switch on and have the gear shift lever in 3 and I turn off
the shrifter switch, will the trans revert to auto mode in 3rd?

3)Just to be sure I understand this correctly, there is no way for the
shrifter to shift into 1st when moving even when driving at low speed in
2nd gear? I see it always defaults to 1st when coming to a stop.

4)3rd gear shift has a long delay in manual mode. I assume from our
previous phone discussion, I will be able to shorten the shift time from
2nd to 3rd gear when tweak the parameters in the T-Com?

5)Is there engine braking in manual mode?

6)I want to make sure my TC switch is working properly. I adapted the
stock switch to my new CNC brake pedal system. I can't feel the TC
unlocking when I hit the brakes. Does the T-Com software show this switch
activate/deactivate when I depress/press the brake pedal?

Thanks again!

Adam
