To answer your question..

What needs to be repaired has zero to do with any fancy parts I have on the car. If this was a stock Camaro the bill would be almost the same since it would need quarters, sheetmetal and paint just like me.

In my case $15k is 15% of the value of the car. In a regular Camaro it could be 50% or more.

Yes, it's a story that needs to be told.
