Like was stated above, you will likely see less than a 10 rwhp difference between the 2 heads.
For my money you made the right choice, simply because of the rocker arm issue. TFS require the HS rocker arms and the AFR can reuse the stockers. However it would not be a bad idea to send the stockers to HS to have them perform their modification to them. $250 is really cheap insurance. AS far as the pushrods, after you get the heads in measure for pushrod length then. What were the specs on the cam you ordered?? Did you order the 225's or the 205"s. Either way, will be a nice setup
