Squeezed out the bonding agent and spread it out. I put the bonding agent on the car and spread it, also.



See how the bonding agent fills the gap very well. The fiberglass does not need to be a perfect fit, just within 1/16". And don't squeeze out all the 8115.

This is the finished product. It has no gaps and needs little or no filler. Photo does not do it justice!





I prep'd the side scoop area. Whenever I sand down to metal, as a rule of thumb I always use an epoxy primer (not shown) to seal it. Some people will use bondo right on top of bare metal. I believe that you really need a sealing agent to keep the metal from rusting!

So next will be an epoxy primer coat, and then a little feather fill.

Note how I used a little Kitty Hair to fill between the fender flair and the rocker panel.
