Much like yourself Frank - Hardcore Drag Racer over here. This should be interesting to see how this whole things pans out. I do alot of reading on various sites and I didn't hear any rumors of this at all - so I'm sure everybody was caught off guard on this one. IMO NHRA has made alot of progress in the past few years as far as marketing. To hear NASCAR and NHRA together in one sentence was unheard of years ago. No it's is getting compared to quite often, although I honestly never think NHRA will ever come close to the NASCAR following it has - would be nice but I doubt it.
I'm just glad they are finally racing this weekend - I need my fix!!
