He just had to prove that, although you must have more money than him, he is more powerfull than you! Around here, the cops like to tailgate, even when they aren't going to pull you over. I once had one tailgat me so close, I couldn't see his headlights! He pulled me over for "weaving." I wanted to tell him, "how about if I tailgate you like that, and we'll see if you weave a bit!" It was around 1am, on a deserted road, two lanes each direction. We were out in the country, and I have to say that I wish I had know it was a cop, I swear I would have "seen a deer" and slammed on the brakes.
