The more verticle you can get the shocks the better. Angling the shocks will change some of the behavior. The spring rates go up dramatically when the shock is angled, and the shock doesn't travel with the suspension at a 1:1 ratio, so the valving will need to be adjusted for this. Attempt to get the shock as verticle as possible, and you can avoid these and other problems.
