Well my name is Richie Hester. I'm 20 and live in Palmdale, Ca. I joined this forum because I love older cars. I don't post because I do not have very much mechanical knowledge. I can do oil changes and brake jobs and swap stuff that was already on the car like alternators, starters, a/c compressors, stuff like that. My dad is a mechanic so I never do anything important unsupervised and if I can't do something, I'll watch him do it or he will tell me what to do and watch me do it. I only work on my own car, btw. I drive an 1987 Chevrolet Sprint Turbo, kind of the opposite car for this forum
. I just started working and I plan on getting a '68 Camaro and dropping an LS motor in it, my dad has lots of experience doing this. I know he's not going to do all that work for free, now that I have a job, so I'll probably end up giving him the money to stroke his LT1 in his El Camino or paint it, which ever he wants. So basically I'm here to learn and drool over your guys cars
