Frank is getting senile in his old age. I think they are 26 lbs each. They are at each corner of the convert. They counteract the car wanting to sag in the middle as you go over bumps. If you stiffen the chassis up with connectors or cage etc you should be able to do without them but with a stock car, leave them in. It is a welded cannister with a cast weight sandwiched between two coil springs and the whole thing is full of oil.
