Yeah, that's actually a couple smaller hose clamps I used to hold it in place. Also, the surrounds are different. I really don't care as I already had the tach. It was easier to do that than get the separate components and a new tach.
Autometer also makes a
Pro Light shift light that use a RPM Pill to set.
Also, for a cleaner look, you can get this
RPM activated module to light up a
Quick Light shift light. That way you can keep the standard tach with the same surround as your speedometer.
