600-800 is not happening unless it's an open.

1450 sounds about right give or take these days. Might be able to shave a couple hundred or so off I'd think.

You can go with a direct reputable carrier (Intercity, Sunday, etc) or a broker or u-ship for less $. All up to you on what you're comfortable with and budget.

I'd say take the time off and drive the sucker if you can.
