I really wanted to do something different for the fuel tank. With the help of Tim@Gap Racing we came up with a tank design that dropped in from the top and replaced the trunk floor. It will hold the same if not more than any other factory style tank but allows us to keep it on the same plane as the roll pan without hanging down. I couldn’t be happier with the way it came out. Looks awesome and I wanted to do that with my car.
Years ago Rad Rides put an early Mustang tank in the Notorious Nova. Looking at your pics makes me regret not doing it in my car.
Thank you fir sharing the pictures and for making me re-think my fuel tank set up.
I should also mention I love this build.
