Go a step up to AC/DC so that you can tig aluminum. You have to go pure Argon for DC tig on steel anyways.......might as well be able to AC tig.
Have you priced Lincoln/Miller? I'm guessing $800 more than the Hobart.
Definitely go pedal, tig torch buttons are way too far rearward to keep accurate arc gap especially for entry level folks.
