My cars are entirely built in my garage, painted in my garage, etc. The only thing I farm out is the machine work on the engine. I'd do that too if I had the machines
There's a couple of reasons I do my own work. Labor is free so I have more money for parts and it takes a lot of money! I usually have issues with other peoples ideas of quality also......
