The estopp is factory wired to only operate when the ignition is turned off. So unless that is bypassed, and you lose your brakes at speed, you’d have to kill the ignition to get the estopp to activate. You’d then lose power steering and transmission control. Seems like a lot to manage in an emergency situation.

My plan in an emergency is to stomp on my lokar e brake pedal and start downshifting like a mofo.

And I have had a master cylinder go bad, actually I believe mine was the one that triggered Wilwood’s recall a few years back.
