I've always liked "the poor man's mustang" because it is kind of the underdog. I had been watching a cherry little 62 (or 63?) hardtop near me for a long time. It went up for sale for $3,500 and I did not have the space because of my '55. I had to make a choice, so I kept the Chevy. (Not enough room for wife, three daughters, AND TWO PROJECTS. Kids are hard to sell! Wifes cost too much to get rid of, I've heard.
)
I also used to know a guy who made a hard-core vintage racer '65 Falcon and it was beautiful.
I REALLY like your car! Keep us posted.
