Default USA made sheetmetal available

We can get USA made sheetmetal in limited quantities while supplies last. Post up what you are interested in. Be aware that USA made metal will cost 25%-35% more than imported metal. Example: 70-72 Chevelle full quarters stamped on GM tooling. As close to NOS as you can get. Price for these is $575 each where others are $460 each Goodmark price for imported metal. About 10-15 sets available right now. If you are interested in other USA metal for Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, etc., let me know and I will check and see what is available.

Mostly what is available is floor and trunk panels, and some quarter panels. It will vary from vehicle to vehicle what is available.

Please tell me why you think you have origional tooling panels?

This has been discussed in WAY WAY to much over at team chevelle.
It has been determined that no one is still staming origional tooling quarters and havent been for atleast 10-15 years, if you have old ones in stock thats a different storry.

Who is stamping them? In my experience owning a restoration shop most of the Made in USA panels such as TABCO are complete garbage comapred to the taiwan stuff.

IF Im wrong and you have a source for someone who somehow has slipped through the radar of the entire hobby and has origional tooling metal please share!

We get US panels through Sherman. Sherman is off the radar of most people. Not sure who is stamping all the metal. All the metal we bought recently for a '57 (all $4K of it) stamped by EMI of Canada is very nice stuff.

The Chevelle quarters are either old stock or is being stamped again (per Sherman's website) because there is/was 15 sets available when I originally posted this thread. I have not called to verify which.

All the metal is getting better each year as demand increases. Why most of it isn't right to start is anyones guess.

Yea sherman makes some small stuff ... didnt think they stamped anything large such as quarters. Dynacorn and goodmark are supposed to both be stamped by golden legion in taiwan. Maybe they have some left over sets?
As far as anyone knows the GM dies dissapeared.

Default American Metal

EMI, Experi-Metal stamps most of the american stuff, Great quality, They are in Detroit and supply most of the dealers. They do not retail themselves. C.A.R.S. Inc is their key supplier as well as Shermans.

All of the EMI parts I've used have been very good quality and IMO fit much better than the imported panels. However, I can only speak for Camaro parts.
