I've been following this post since conception and I really appreciate all the 'weight' data you have been providing. Some of the magazines lately have been focusing on weight savings and so I think it's a hot item as of late. I noticed your Friday pictures and the metal plates you recently installed that will provide mounting for your lexan windows. I'd be curious to know much much weight difference there is between the glass that normally goes in those spots versus the lexan+metal plates. I may be building a track car in the near future and was considering the lexan windows myself. Any information on that is greatly appreciated! Also, I read through the thread again and couldn't tell if you went with moly for your cage? I apologize if I missed that info somewhere.

By the way, the concept renderings are absolutely sick. I hope you get the car 'finished' in time for the Optima challenge. It's quite amazing the progress your team is making.
