EDIT: woohoo! screwed up the first post... could someone move this to the correct forum....

Hello everyone. Just thought I would check in. I can't say I have the car yet; but I put my deposit on a 65 Malibu today.

My background: I am 27 (28 in April). I have been into Mustangs for the past 5 yrs. Currently have a 96 Cobra with few bolt-ons. A 65 Chevelle Malibu has been my dream car for about 18 yrs. I am finally going to get one and can't hardly contain myself.

The site looks great so far. I will try to post pics and if it doesn't work I will edit later when I figure it out.

Later,
Tony Gilliam

Welcome, Tony. Looks like an excellent foundation for a cool g-machine.

Nice lookin' Chevelle! My first car was a '66 convertible with a 454 and a 4-speed. Lots of fun! Any plans, or just cruise it like it is?

Shiny Side Up!

The First thing is to replace all rubbers around windows... Then will be big disk/power brakes and 17 or 18" wheels or a combination of 17's and 18's.

Lots of plans after that, but it will be a long slow process.
