Tablet in place of gauges?

Hey Guys,
I wanted to see what you guys think of using a smalle (say 8" or so) 4g lte tablet instead of running the traditional gauges you would have. I know a lot of guys use Racepak's in place of gauges but was curious why I dont see more tablets mounted into dashboards. I know a lot of the moder fuel injection engines could use this for both tuning and displaying and customizing what you see in front of you. With the capability of some of todays tuning software it would be pretty versitile. What do you guys think? Pros/cons, things I am not thinking about?
