Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay in updating you all. Having to be in a 100% head down position for 5 full days does not lead itself to using a laptop. Well not when you are 6'6" tall and the special chair you can rent for this type of recovery doesn't fit you so well anyway...

So the surgery went well and yesterday's follow up appointment showed good healing progress so the Doc took me off face down positioning! You would be surprised how hard it is to hold you head vertical after 5 days of holding it down... My balance was off and everything! Anyway, hopefully in three weeks we can start removing stitches and such but is it going to take 6-8 weeks for the gas bubble in my eye to fully go away so that will delay getting full vision (ie new glasses) until that little guy is completely gone. Slow and steady though.


Thanks for all the thought and prayer guys. Hopefully sometime soon you can check in for actual updates on the CAR!!!
