Who makes those? I was thinking of using the Ring Brothers teardrop hood pins.

We use a simple safe key type 2" round locks on Prodigy. We used a Carbon Fiber face I thought would be to ricey, but it works pretty good. FWIW, I have been 149MPH in the street racer with factory hinges and latch holding a glass hood and no hood pins. But I have tho0ught about the hood blowing off while in the middle of a pass, LOL!

Stielow built the Red Witch, Thrasher and Mule all with glass hoods and no hood pins. They all went very fast with no problems. I remember somewhere there is a pic of the Thrasher on One Lap doing maybe 170 ? The front suspension looks completely unloaded...as in nose up....hood stayed down though.

I'm sure if the bodywork is done well with an eye to keeping the fit between the fenders, doors, and hood all nice and tight and you do the same with the hood hinges and latch that you probably don't have to worry about the hood coming up/off. . .I personally like the look of the hood pins though.
