Very easy install. I believe the new Richmond over drive tranny uses the Richmond 6 speed case, i believe thats what Richmond told me is, so requires a shorter drive shaft. This transmission and shifter are a little pricey compared to some, but i needed something this strong after breaking 2 transmissions before.

I run 755 lbs of torque with my camaro, i have pushed this transmission hard, it truly is bullet proof and runs great on the road coarse. I believe the warranty rating is for 600lbs of torque according to Richmond, granted i do not run slicks so traction is limited but with the DSE Quadralink it does still bite hard.

I run a 308 rear Richmond gear and a 289 first gear in the tranny and .77 in 5th. At 70 mph i am around 2300 rpms's with a 315x17x35 rear tire and allows me 15 miles to the gallon when i keep my foot out it.

Transmission does whine a little but not bad, i have been very happy, with great support from Richmond.
Are you running a Hurst shifter? Do you have a console?

Can you hear the whine of your transmission over the roar of your motor?

Thanks.
