Yes I have heard many bad stories about them now but unfortunately not when I was in the market for it. I personally am quite happy with it other than I think it runs fat at idle. Other than that it has been a solid carb for me. Once it is running (I have this week off and plan to get it all buttoned up) I will know for sure as I bought an A/F ratio gauge for it as well as a MSD Digital 6A as you already know.

I hope to get it all dialled in as I cant wait to run this thing with all the extra power The new heads and bumped up compression will give me . Also see how the new ignition compares to the old.
