looks awesome, have you thought about having the hash marks flow with the body lines (angle other direction), or were they done that way on purpose?

I like it but I think the trim above the stripe is alittle off. What about doing a complete wrap around of the trim around the stripe from the front to back.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.

As far as the direction of stripe.. It does follow the angle of the car, the front fender angle. Why I didn't go with rear angle is simple, angle of acceleration, going the opposite way is like slamming on the brakes...which wouldn't be a bad thing since this is a pro touring forum, but you guys understand lol

The trim should be correct, I'm constantly looking at something while doing my line drawings, there's a small detailed area within the door that's off, it's a little downsweep withing the shape of the stainless. If Im correct, the trim has a sticker inlay? A machine turned look? the look for this car will be powderscoated on the inlay, and brushed outters. I didn't give a wrap-around trim idea a thought, it would have to either be made, or painted. I could try it.

As far as mechanical detail, I'm not sure of anything. I would have to call Jason. I do know, there's practically no body mods, most of the look is just with paint and powder coat.

Again, thanks for the feedback, keep it coming!

I've actually never seen it in person... I live about 20-25 minutes away from their shop, they bring their cars down to our cruise occasionally, my parents have seen it when it was first done, I know it went to SEMA. This past summer they had an open house to which I attended, and I didn't see it there. Fuel was there, and it's siick.

Nelson --

You're going to HATE me for saying this -- and I really like your drawing and I absolutely LOVE '62 Impalas -- but my very first thought - is that it looks like a road work cone -- orange with silver reflector tape.

I'm sorry -- that's just what jumps out at me. I find the hashed side trim stripe to be totally distracting from the beautiful lines of this model.
