Find the engine you want to check , click on it then click get dealers pricing . Check out Smicklas Chevrolet 620/572 $8200 LS7 I think $8900.

it says this at the bottom-"Products shown online are available for purchase through participating GM Performance Parts Authorized center dealers. Online purchases can be made within the 48 contiguous United States which excludes Alaska and Hawaii. Individual dealer prices may vary from Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Tax, shipping, and installation extra." im assuming that there is no way the dealer you have to get it through is going to sell it for that much since it says price may vary...???

The catch may be shipping?

Jegs and Summit sell those GMPP crate motors. A zz383 is $5299.99 which is pretty good against the other dealers listed on that site.

There is no way there is that much margin in those motors, has to be a catch....

FYI:
I called this morning in preparation of maxing the business CC out and stock piling these. After 2 of the 3 phone numbers listed, failed, I finally got thru to a person who knew what was comming. He transfered me to the "warehouse division" and that guy told me that they "are not a part of the program and do not know how they got on that website". He said they do not stock any crate engines but can order them. I asked him to quote me on an engine anyway and his price was DOUBLE what is was listed as on gmperformanceparts.
So... like you mother always told you:
"if it sounds too good to be true, it is"

To those of you that entered credit card info I would be shutting down those cards. Sounds like a phishing scam to get card info. At least monitor their usage closely.
