Default Its been awhile!

Hey all! I havent posted here in a long time! And I miss seeing some of these beautiful G machines! but Ive had a lot on my plate and Ive been working a lot on my career and such!

Any how... Recently Ive really been on a kick to get myself a much more classic daily driver. Conveniently just across the street from me there has sat a 1974-75 plymouth Scamp since I have moved here... I got in touch with the owner of the vehicle recently and expressed my interested in the car! Seems like she might be willing to sell it! but only spoke to her for a very brief amount of time (so said she was leaving on buisness) I have found out some smallllll details about the car. It IS a slant 6, auto trans and it has sat for about the last 15 yrs. BUT none the less I think its a candidate for a sweet daily driver My thoughts are. wheels, suspension, and possibly a stereo. Id love to have room in the budget for a V8, but there is something cool about riding around low and slow and just enjoying this car as a cruiser! I havent seen any Scamps protour'd... And I was wondering if you all may have some to keep my gears turning some more?

Any thoughts on what you guys would do with a budget of maybe 5000 or so?

I have my go fast car, and I really want this one to be much more of a driver and less of my "mod bug" car!

Heres my vette.

I like the black wheels on the white Vette.

I think your challenge with the Scamp is to make is reliable.

Absolutely right! I think AND hope... that by leaving the drive train as original as possible itll be fine! I only go 7miles back and forth to work anyhow!
