Default MSD-6AL ignition box

I am going to use the MSD-8360 distributor with vacuum advance. Should I use the 6Al box or is it overkill/not needed?

My engine is a 1969 427 BBC.

Street driven an some autocross.

Thanks,

Jody

Yes

The multiple spark function below 3500 rpm really cleans up idle characteristics. Starting and low speed drivability on a carbed car will be better.

I would use it not only for the extra spark but also for the rev limiter.
