Default Mounting height of harness bar?

Just wondering how far below the shoulder strap opening (in a racing seat) a harness bar/harness tie down should be? I asume he mount point should be equal to or within 1/2" of the seat opening. I didn't see any details in my harness installation instructions.

Figure out your ergomonics when you'll be using the shoulder belts first. Then figure out at what level the belts will be going through the seat openings and mark the seats with some tape. I believe the spec is 0-10 degrees plus or minus but double check it.

Another vote for HMS Motorsports. Joe spent a lot of time making me smart enough to write this story
