Default Putting some more miles on it (( 08-31-24 ))

Needed to add more fluid so off to the Autoparts store.

Looks like the birds got me yesterday.

Look Mom there is a Mustang in the background, Mike must be here.

Mike and I took the car out and drove it around a bunch.

We even stopped by the house and picked up his car just for this picture.

Even stopped for ice-cream and a lower radiator hose leak !!

When we arrived back at the house we had a few issue's. When I turned the car off it continued to run. Not Good.

Then to make matters worse after we got the tuned off we had another issue. Seems the computer was unable to see
the transmission and we (Mike) had to push the car on to the lift.

and since my memory sucks we wrote down the chain of events.

For now the car is in the garage on the lift and I will be driving the Cayman for the next couple days.

Default This Wagner Motor is a leaky SOB !! (( 09-15-24 ))

Seriously I am thinking about scrapping this motor and just buying a new LS3 Connect & Cruise !!

The plan is to work on a couple things before I try to figure out what is wrong with the car and unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.

First Up, raise the rear

I hate this Tin Man **** !!

Looks a little better.

and then I walked into this and it quickly reminded me how much heads bleed !!!

Looks like I am going to the ER.

Good news when you have a head injury they take you in right away.

Eleven stitches, Cat Scan and a friendly Doctor visit were heading home.

Thank god I have no hair.

Default Kore3 Wilwood Electric Brake (( 09-28-24 ))

Still have no clue if the car will drive and honestly I am just happy I walked back out to the garage to work on the car.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to use the current bracket.

The current bracket only allows me to install one of the bolts.

Plan B. Use the brackets that Tobin sent with this kit.

Removing the original bracket.

Looks like I need to modify this bracket. Apparently my axle housing needs a little more space so I can install it.

I will need to machine an actually spacer instead of using the washers.

The Electric Part.

Kinda cute.

Passenger Bracket getting modified.

more work for tomorrow.

You're making progress, that's what matters. When you get tired of that 4L60, let's get you hooked up with a ZF 8HP70
