I have to agree...that actually really helped with my decision, I think that I will probly go with a black or red...

I somehow forgot the specs on the engine...here is the list of parts

  • 10 to 1 compression dome top pistons
  • Seasoned 2-bolt main block
  • Deck head gasket surface
  • Hydraulic flat tappet cam with .527"int/.553"exh valve lift
  • 2.070"Int/1.720"Exh valves with high performance springs setup to match cam
  • 1.7 Roller tip rocker arms
  • Hardened push rods
  • Perfect Circle rings
  • Double row timing set
  • High volume oil pump with welded pickup screen
  • Spin-on oil filter adapter
  • 1-pc molded rubber oil pan gasket

Default good advice

just wanted to chime in and say that I thought Ben Hermance's advice regarding color was right on the money. We all know it ain't cheap or easy to paint a car, so unless you are in love with a trendy or specific color you'll probably thank yourself in a couple of years by making a safer bet.

Keep dishing the good advice, Ben.

Thanks
Bill
