Thumbs up C7 Stingray Miami

I was recently down in Miami and stopped by The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. I saw this red C7 Stingray outside. So I thought I’d take a few shots of it. If anyone knows who owns this car feel free to let them know about the photos.

Enjoy!

Great shots sir. But, one thing I hate, and it has nothing to do with photography. But, it's a shame when you buy an expensive car and you can see orange peel all in the clear coat. Many of the new cars have it...I know. A friend of mine bought a brand, spanking new CL 63 for $150k and it had orange peel on it. Again, great shots though.

Marcus,

They accully put the orange peel on the car for a reason, it helps to make the panels look straighter then they accully are. Remember even CL 63 is a "production" car as is the C7. Just think of how much work has gone into your Chevelle to get it straight.

And Casey great shots of the car!!! 👍

Nice compositions Casey

Pretty impressive look for an "American" car IMO.

Anyone remember McLaren F1 intentionally finishing their car with peel in an attempt to improve aero?

Great photos!
Not really crazy about the car, (I like it, but not a lot. lol), but great photography.

Makes sense to me Rick. I know by them being painted on an assembly or by hydraulic machines isn't going to get wet sanded or color sanded to make the orange peel go away. Like you said..."production car," meaning they don't have time to cut and buff a few hundred thousand cars to eliminate orange peel.
