Default TORQUE VALUES

This is my first Aluminum block (World) and aluminum heads, 572RB with 572-13s. I torqued all fasteners with suggested values and using both Inch and pound tools both calibrated........recently. Only second use since getting them back. Question is cold vs hot values ?? and retorquing needed? cylinder heads are studded for VCs & oil pan (aluminum) all have flat straight rails. still small leaks at various areas. Used quality gaskets I feel ? After first start-up, several fasteners could nearly be turned 1 full round?? looking for suggestions and hints , thanks

My 540 Arias moved a ton. Definitely re-torque heads after a warm up, but only when fully cooled, like 12 hours or more. I ran a solid roller and the cold lash was .000 and .003 or so to get the desired .018 and .020" when warm.

I had really good luck with the rubber and steel core valve cover gaskets like these.
