Default Lug Nuts: what're all the cool kids using?

Looking for some open ended lug nuts for the rear of my car and it's crazy how much time I've spent looking for something. I love the looks of the NRG Innovations below but just can't bring myself to put aluminum lug nuts on a vehicle! I'd even be open to double stacking a better looking lug nut on top of the acorn style nuts I've got on there now. I'd prefer something open ended but wanna see what other guys are running. My current setup is:
DSE Quadralink
3" studs
Forgeline ZX3P Wheels

Why do all the cool lug nuts have to be aluminum and metric!

Those look nice! I'll have to look into them.

I'm sure they work fine but I'm still timid on the aluminum lug nuts myself.

I went with Gorilla lug's, they're open ended and forged steel. If you're happy with black then I think these are pretty damn good.

Those Gorilla ones are the best option I've seen.

This is timely. I'm going to change the lug nuts out on my BMW. I'm glad to hear Gorilla's black lug nuts are good.

Never gave my nuts that much thought. These look great though and I'm going to order some up for my project. Thank you!

Last time the shop had to buy titanium lugnuts, they were for a Porsche; $29 each 15 years ago. Never knew Gorilla made HD lugnuts! Their regular stuff seems to gall either on the rim or the stud. I'd like to find a reasonable set of thru-hardened nuts like what McGard makes. Doesn't seem to do much good for others, no matter what their construction is, if they're only case-hardened on the outside, leaving the threads soft.

Thanks for all the tips!

I'm just about to order new wheels soon and like the open Gorilla set. I've been happy with Gorilla in all the past years. Even used them back in the early and mid 90's on my college cars when I had cheap cast wheels. LOL!!

I tried a few driffrent styles, open and closed. I ended up with the gorilla black open ended as well.
