in my 68 camaro all of my front sheet metal lines up much better when I do not install the radiator support bushings. I feel the replacement floor that was put in is what is causing the issues with fitment of the subframe. Are there any concerns if i just use a rubber washer of some kind to mount the radiator support? I want to obviously avoid the metal on metal
thanks
Are all your subframe bushings the same thickness? I learned last week that stock bushings are two thicknesses and the thick ones go at the front. If yours are all the same thickness try tightening the rear mount bolts to see if it improves.
I guess it is ok not to use the radiators bushings but sometimes it is good to know what the root cause of issues are. Make sure your steering column will line up correctly.
