Wondering what part # you used for the MSD wires? I was looking through Summit and they all seemed to have the straight spark plug boot which would hit the #5 and #7 primary tubes on the driver's side.

On a side note, I am running these headers on a 5.3 in a stock subframe with stock power steering and stock upper control arms if anyone wants to see photos of fitment.

I wold like to see them! What motor mounts are you using and are they the stock location motor mounts? I hope mine clear, but I am still a month away from getting the motor back in.

Here's my '68 vert with DynaTech LSx headers. I love 'em!!

Take a look at my build link (pcis #416-430) for better/ more detailed pics of the header fitment.

I used the transadapt plates and motor mounts (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TRD-4595/).

The pictures don't do the headers justice because my power steering lines are in the way. The headers fit great and they were easy to retrofit to my old big block exhaust.

There is about 1/2 an inch between the driver's side upper comtrol arm and the primary tube although it's hard to tell from the photos.

They fit good! I need to trim a small piece of the SBC mounts. I am using the carshop mounts.

I ended up using the msd multi angle plug wires with my headers. Just like I thought, the #5 and #7 spark wires are up against the primary tubes. I was able to bend the msd multi angle plug ends and then zip tie them up so they would not touch...but I recommend to anyone else using these headers to get the right angle plugs that will give you more clearance. The driver's side pic above clearly shows how there is not much real estate around the #5 and #7 spark plugs.

Im looking to get a set of these and have s&p plates. Can anyone confirm if they will or will not work before I pull the trigger? Thanks Steven

Update:01/27/12
So i pulled the trigger and bought these. As far as price goes they cannot be beat..they fit very well with my s&p mounts. Clear the steering box with ease the only issue I see if I have to ground a little material off of my drivers engine mount but that no big deal..here are some pictures.

I know this is an old thread , but I have a couple of questions ...... Is there header made that has better ground clearance...? These appear to hang down a little bit too much for my liking. Does anyone have any suggestions : I am doing a stock subframe , stock Power steering gear box , and it has factory air conditioning in a 69 . I am going to use a 6.0 and LS-3 heads is my plans.
