Default Corvette GT3.R

2024 Corvette Z06 GT3 Racing Sports Car | Chevrolet

https://www.chevrolet.com/motorsport...tte-racing/gt3

This is a full tilt professional race car that is very expensive, not a street car... Just attempting to stop the "I want one". We will build 20 for racing.

Just passing on because it is one of the cool projects I'm working on.

That's really awesome, Mark. Do we have a ball park for price? Will it clear seven figures? Have fun with the project!

Beautiful car, your team has some talented artwork folks. Will be cool to see where the 20 land and watch it screaming on the track. That might even get me to an event to see it live. Technology trickle down from these unobtainable cars to consumer platforms is exciting.

Mark, we met at SEMA but didn't have much time to chat. Exciting times in racing as I have a son who has been racing since he was 7yo in karting and the last two years in Spec Miata. The off season we are testing in IMSA TCR and Trans Am TA2 in addition to acquiring a BMW M4 GT4. He is 15yo now and running at the pointy tip of the spear (Blue #59). I say all this because his goal is running in IMSA GTD and eventually GT Pro. The surge of interest and participation in road course racing in all series is very exciting.

Please tell us more about the sequential and, I assume, clutch for starts and stops. Thanks.

Most GT3 race cars cost between $450K and $850K depending on the model, configuration and spares package. The Corvette GT3.R will be in that range.

It is a sequential Xtrac race box. Full straight cut gear. Button clutch to launch it.
