Default Long time build for my brother...

Sup guys. Wanted to drop this in here. I’ve talked about this truck a couple times on the site through the years, but it’s finally done. Started it July 24, 2000. No kidding. Finished it this past week. It’s my brothers truck. He bought it new in 87’. He also has 6 kids, that he’s always put first, so the truck came last. We’d get a little done, and pull off for a couple years until funds were back up to where he was comfortable spending on the truck again.
It’s a cool deal for me as well. I actually drove this to school once in 89’. I have lots of memories in this truck, so for me to build this for him was pretty cool. He told me what he wanted, and I did the rest. He lifted it 6 inches the first couple months after he bought it, with 35” tires. It was like that until I started the tear down in 2000, with 50something thousand miles on the clock. Of course, it’s never seen the mud. Original sheet metal. Zero rust. 17” lift, 44” boggers, 20” wide custom built beadlocks, custom crossover steering, 3/4 ton 8 lug axles, 5.13 gears, etc, etc. We even did our own hickory bed. First time out was this week for tuning, and then he put it in a show Saturday for “square body’s only” where he got best of show.
