Default Safety wiring rotors ?

Can someone tell me how to safety wire button head cap screws? Does the wire go over the top of screw or the side? I did a search on the net and did find any information.

Thanks!

Right or wrong, idk...but I routed the wire around the side of the button head as best I could vs. pulling straight back across the head.

Hey thanks! I kind of did the same thing you did and went around the button head. As long as the don't back out i guess it's good

It should go around the bolt head and also should be tightening the bolt otherwise its pointless to have safetywire. hope that helps

Default Safety Wire Documents

You can try going to this site: https://assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksea...t_number=41887 and look at revision J. It has a PDF file on how the military safety wires components. Also wilwood has a PDF document as well on how they want customers to safety wire their products. The link is here: http://www.wilwood.com/PDF/ds386.pdf
