Default Beating my head about what suspension Ride tech, speed tech, heidts

As quick as I can, I am doing a 68 nova 4 door. ls/6l90 auto car with a tvs 2300. I have all that im down to suspension.

I want the tubular control arms will need some rear suspension. plan on 8.5 or 12 bolt. Is it worth the power rack and pinion or just upgrade the steering box?

Why does no one seem to use Heidts on here or on pro-touring.com? I see they do have everything i would like. Ridetech doesnt have a frame. Speedtech has everything also.

Guess one big question is...The heidts stuff not strong, fit correct,to cheap?

Do you keep the stock frame?

Do you need power steering rack and pinion?

I plan on having fun with the car im not a autocrosser i more or less want the look and feel of a "new" car on this 68. I dont need the best of the best but dont want to get something that is going to fall apart or not fit correctly

Thanks
Kyle

My opinion is Heidt's is just so yesterday's stuff. This hobby has advanced so far beyond the Mustang II stuff they are still using alot. But, they are charging today's current pricing for it. Speedtech has everything as you stated. You cannot go wrong with them. Notice how other suspension stuff such as Speedtech, DSE and AME have gone to C5/C6 stuff? More of a modern day technology suspension.

Thanks, and power rack & pinion is not a necessity, but a very good luxury to have. If you go with an aftermarket subframe it more than likely will come with rack & pinion. Me personally, I would get it. But, if not, there are very nice pwer steering boxes out there.

Some of you guys should think about how you set up your websites. I searched for "Chevelle performance suspension" and got a lot of items not performance related for 10 pages..........just food for thought.

Thankfully, I used my head and came here. Speedtech, WANT A body track time kit........looks AWESOME.
