Default HURST BLACKJACK SHORT THROW SHIFTER for T56

Item Location (City/State): Bay Area/CA

Price: *****SOLD ******(via PayPal includes UPS ground shipping)

Description: (USED for 100miles)
HURST BLACKJACK SHORT THROW SHIFTER for Tremec Magnum 6-Speed
PART# 3917309

Originally installed on my '68 Camaro in the forward position and experienced leaking from the shifter. Hurst sent me a replacement and experienced the same leak, so flipped the shifter to the rear position (recommendation from other members) and leak stopped. This shifter has some minor scratches (see pictures) but if you install it in the rear position you'll love the leak-free quick precise shifting.

Depending on the car you're installing it on, you can call Holley/Hurst and order the custom shifter bracket to fit your application if you don't make it your own. The off-set bracket for a '68 Camaro is Part# 2397317 (OFFSET STICK WELD ASSY, T-56 MAGNUM 68-6).

It's definitely quicker and more precise shifting compared to the stock tremec. Without the stock shifter available for comparison I can't say what the reduction of "throw" the Blackjack is.

I measured the throw on the blackjack and with a 10in hurst shifter going from 1st to 2nd gear there is a ~3in throw.
